Refreshing, colourful and lively hub facelift
We designed an office makeover for Sievo. Sievo is a procurement analytics company with a diverse staff operating from three offices around the world. Their HQ, located in central Helsinki, needed some help bringing out their people- and culture focus in the right way. As Sievonians don't take themselves too seriously, we designed a circus-inspired theme for their office to give it some colour and whimsy. The aim was to create a space that would function as a clubhouse for shared and enjoyable experiences.

Calm & quiet working areas to colourful social spaces
Sievo's office was comprised of expansions from different eras, and the spaces felt dated. Our aim was to design a substantial facelift, yet keep the renovation sustainably to a minimum, and create a unified look and feel throughout. We salvaged old materials like the wooden flooring, which was sanded and re-treated. Other dominant elements were reframed to look fresh again, and old eyesores that couldn't be fixed were creatively hidden. Part of our sustainable approach was to utilise as much of their old furniture as possible, mixing and matching it creatively with the new and other second-hand furniture we found for them.
Sievonians wished for a memorable and inspiring clubhouse for shared time together both at and off work. They are playful and proud of their seal mascot Jaxu, so we came up with a circus-inspired theme for their office. We designed many custom elements to support the theme, including the event cart and many illustrative graphic elements. The cart is generally located in the heart of the office (their newly expanded communal kitchen lounge), but can also be wheeled outside the office for external events when needed.
